The Sony Alpha a6700 (ILCE-6700) is a high-end APS-C mirrorless camera rumored to be announced in late August 2019. To replace current Sony Alpha a6500 (Amazon/B&H/Adorama). Sony currently has three unannounced camera codes got registered.
Sony is likely to have a new product announcement at the last week of August, 2019. Previous rumors said that the new product to be announced in this month could be Sony a6700 or a7000. And we have just received first rumored specs for Sony a6700 or a7000:
According to latest rumors from SAR, Sony may announce two new APS-C mirrorless cameras at the end of this month. We already know that Sony has three unannounced camera codes are all E-mount cameras, so two of these to be announced in late this month could be APS-C mirrorless cameras, and the other is a new full frame mirrorless camera.
Sony currently has three unannounced camera codes. This means we will see three Sony cameras to be announced within one or two months. According to Nokishita Camera, there is a possibility that all these three models are interchangeable lens cameras.
Currently, Sony has a total of 4 unannounced cameras confirmed. The first camera to be announced will be WW716189, announcement date is on July 17th, 2019, next week. So which camera will be announced ?
Sony has just registered the fourth camera code WW642826 in China, this means there will be a total of four E-mount/Compact cameras to be announced in the second half of 2019 ! These E-mount cameras includes Sony a9 II, a7S III, a5, a7000.
Sony today registered a third camera code “WW594724” in China. This means we will at least see three new Sony cameras to be announced in the second half of 2019. While Nokishita said there could be a total of 4 mirrorless cameras and one Cyber-shot camera coming in 2019. Stay tuned.
According to SonyRumors.CO, a new Sony camera code WW246025 now got registered in China. Along with previous registered WW716189, so there are at least 2 new Sony cameras will be announced within 1-3 months.
