Sony today has registered a new camera code WW119533 in China. According to specs of registered info, this WW119533 camera code is registered by Sony China (Wuxi), similar as previous camera codes: a6600 (WW594724), a6100 (WW642826), RX100 VII (WW246025). So this WW119533 could be a new RX model (RX10 V) or a new APS-C mirrorless camera or an new entry-level full frame mirrorless camera (Sony a5). Stay tuned.
Sony currently has three unannounced camera codes. This means we will see three Sony cameras to be announced within one or two months. According to Nokishita Camera, there is a possibility that all these three models are interchangeable lens cameras.
Currently, Sony has a total of 4 unannounced cameras confirmed. The first camera to be announced will be WW716189, announcement date is on July 17th, 2019, next week. So which camera will be announced ?

Now according to our source, Sony is also going to announce a new entry-level full frame mirrorless camera in this Summer or Fall, to compete with recently released Canon EOS RP (B&H/Adorama/Amazon) full frame mirrorless camera and Nikon’s upcoming entry-level Z-mount full frame mirrorless camera. The name of this Sony entry-level full frame mirrorless camera could be named as Sony Alpha a5, with a launch price around $1,000.
