Now according to our source, Sony is also going to announce a new entry-level full frame mirrorless camera in this Summer or Fall, to compete with recently released Canon EOS RP (B&H/Adorama/Amazon) full frame mirrorless camera and Nikon’s upcoming entry-level Z-mount full frame mirrorless camera. The name of this Sony entry-level full frame mirrorless camera could be named as Sony Alpha a5, with a launch price around $1,000.
Currently Sony has two new camera codes got registered, WW716189 and WW246025, the WW716189 is expected the high-end Sony a9 II full frame mirrorless camera, and the WW246025 is expected the Sony a6700/a7000 APS-C mirrorless camera or RX10 V or this rumored Sony Alpha a5 full frame mirrorless camera.
