Today Sony Japan has posted a teaser about a new concept camera coming on September 15th, this new camera will probably be the Sony a7C. Sony today has officially announced a new lens adapter named LA-EA5, LA-EA5 is the newest A-mount to E-mount lens adapter. The US price for LA-EA5 is $248, now available for pre-order at B&H Photo Video. The release date for this lens adapter is expected in November, 2020.

Sigma today has officially announced the new 85mm f/1.4 DG DN Art lens for Sony E-mount. This lens is a fast portrait prime for Sony E and Panasonic/Leica/Sigma L-mount. The lens features 15 elements, including one aspherical and five SLD (special low dispersion). It has 11 aperture blades and its focus unit is driven by a high-speed stepping motor. The minimum focus distance of the 85mm F1.4 is 0.85m (34″) and the maximum magnification is 0.12x.
